From one big island to another – Hawaii’s premier surf brand arrives on Australian shores

For 30 years the Local Motion brand has been seen riding high on Hawaiian waves and having fun in the sun throughout The Big Island.

Now we’re delighted to announce the arrival of our awesome range of apparel to Australia. From this January, you’ll be able to see for yourself why we’re renowned for our clever colours, perfect prints and beautiful balance between funky and functional.

Introduced in 1991 as Local Motion's primary surfboard logo, the "Cross" has become to represent the "Core" personality of the brand.

The "Cross" symbolizes the four points of the compass (the World), with the Palm Tree in the center symbolizing Hawaii; representing Local Motion's mission to extend the stoke and aloha of the Hawaiian surfing lifestyle (through our products) to the rest of the World.
